Delete your Winebound account

You can request permanent deletion of your Winebound account from within the app or website:

1. Sign in to your Winebound account.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Profile Information.
4. Scroll to Delete Account, select it, and confirm the request.

If you cannot access your account

Email support@winebound.co.za from the address associated with your Winebound account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify that you own the account before processing the request.

What happens to your data

• Your account and personal information are removed.
• Your favourites, visited wineries, and other account-linked profile activity are removed or disassociated from your identity.
• Reviews and ratings may remain visible, but they are anonymised and are no longer attributed to your name or account.
• Aggregate statistics derived from your activity may be retained only in anonymised form.

Limited information may be retained where required for legal, tax, or security purposes, and only for as long as required for those purposes. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
